Free Bird Walk in Ruskin Park, Lambeth

Join Embrace Cooperation Ltd on a gentle stroll around Ruskin Park with bird expert David Darrell-Lambert giving you tips on how to identify native the birds in the park. An ability to identify wild birds can bring to life any day out in the countryside or your local park.

There are numerous bird species in the park that may be seen on the walk. There are always a large number of birds at the Ruskin Park ornamental pond including mallards, coots and moorhens. Also Canada geese, Greylag geese, Egyptian geese, tufted ducks and grey herons can sometimes be seen. Other bird species that may be seen in the park include robins, blue tits, great tits, greenfinches, nuthatches, green woodpeckers green rose-ringed parakeets black-headed gulls, common gulls and lesser black-backed gulls, song thrushes also use the field and kestrels sometimes hunt over the park.

All participants will be asked to complete a feedback form after the walk.

The walk is limited to 15 participants maximum.
