Handmade brooch featuring a print of a sweet little dog. This has been stitched to a piece of vintage feedsack, and some antique quilt fabric applied to the back, to create a layered and vintage look. The feedsack is from the 1930s and the quilt fabric came from part of a beautiful old Victorian quilt. All fabrics thoroughly washed before use.

I love sewing using my collection of vintage fabrics and threads, both by hand and with my trusty sewing machine. I like to make a connection between the past and the present, and enjoy the fraying and the imperfections of these lovely old textiles. Has a brooch pin on the back.
