Last year i had the chance to work on a book project, illustrating traditional Palestinian tales, some of which my grandmother used to tell me. This print is inspired by one of the stories about a bird, and the journey she does. The text is from a song by the a great Lebanese singer, Fairouz:

Hey Bird, flying on the edge of this world...
If you can let the beloved know what is on my mind..'
