Hairy Jayne has over 10 years experience of creating stylish, wearable and low maintenance hairdos and works from a quirky private studio in Brixton (Tunstall Road)... a nice relaxing alternative to busy salons.

Hairy Jayne Hand Made Hair Care is formulated, brewed, mixed and packaged by her own fair hand in her Brixton studio, and the illustrated labels that embellish the bottles are also designed and created by Jayne.

Hairy Jayne Hand Made Hair Care products merge preparations from traditional apothecaries with more recent (and scientifically proven) formulations. All ingredients have been chosen for their hair-friendly qualities, whether botanical or otherwise. The cleansing ingredients in the shampoos are sulfate free as these are milder on dry scalps – the mildness is colour protecting for chemically treated coloured hair too. Controversial ingredients such as mineral oils and parabens, which have been linked (although without conclusive evidence) to allergies and skin irritations, have been left out just to be on the safe side. From start to finish, production is eco-conscious, and the bottles can be easily recycled.
