In case it isn't clear in the name, Brixton Makers Market is for people to sell and buy products made or grown locally.

For buyers, wander a few yards from the covered markets to see lots of great local produce, hear some live music & maybe find some unique gifts. Come & help us generate a happy happening atmosphere in Station Road!

For makers/growers it's a great opportunity to try out having a real-world stall - the organisers are lovely & have made it as easy as possible for us, they set up the stalls and tables and clear them away & it's only £20 for a big stall with table & canopy, I recommend sharing it with a friend if your items aren't large, it is more fun and a lot easier to take breaks.
All you need is public liability insurance, stock, change & wrapping for people's purchases. The first event was Sept 10th and most of the stallholders really enjoyed it and have signed up for the next one.

I think you've covered every thing there

We're now taking bookings for the next Makers Market on Saturday 12th November (though only a few spots remain) 10th December and our Christmas Makers Market special on the 24th which is going to be gorgeous.

If there's any Retro & Vintage lovers, the Brixton Retro & Vintage Market will commence on Saturday 19th November and were currently taking applications

The Brixton Flea Market commences on Saturday 5th of November. If you have any old goods you'd love to sell on then this would be a great market for you.

And our Brixton Friday Food starts on Friday 4th November and will run every Friday. We're currently looking for locals who make their own produce (unfortunately we can't take on anymore cake makers), such as a jam/chutney maker.

Update: You don't need to go out of Brixton for Christmas shopping this year - there are exciting markets in Brixton Station Road every Sat in Dec, plus the new food market on Fridays, and Makerhood pop-up stalls in Brixton Village on 17th & 18th:

10th - Brixton Makers Market, Station Rd - craft, art, local produce - great place to pick up Christmas gifts,

17th - Vintage & Retro, Station Rd - all sorts of interesting stuff to pick through on this one - will you find hidden treasure, like the guy who bought a basket of uncut gems worth £100,000... well if you don't come, er, no ;)
- & while you're there come to Brixton Village to check out the Makerhood pop up stalls (outside the photographic studio opposite Honest Burgers , also on 18th)

24th - last chance to ensure that your Christmas day does not include any frosty silences, & you can find solutions to any Christmas gift headaches, not to mention your stocking fillers, at the Brixton Makers Market in Station Rd
